Registered Homeschooling at AVS

	Parents who wish to supervise and direct the educational program for their children may be interested in this program. Students in this program do not have to meet provincial standards, aren’t inspected by the Ministry and do not receive a BC Dogwood Certificate.

The school will provide a baseline of learning resources for families to use if they wish. Evaluation and assessment is also offered as a choice for families.

For families who wish to provide their own resources, we offer up to $150.00 in educational support for fine arts activities, sports activities Community based activities and educational services and resources that are a part of the students educational program.

As space permits, homeschool students may access school and district events, classes and activities. There may be small charges to cover costs for activities.
