Program Supports

For students learning at home, AVS teachers and parent(s) will work in collaboration towards developing each Individual Student Learning Plan that meets all ministry requirements by September 30th or within 30 days of enrollment.



	Creation of a Student Learning Portfolio that will include ongoing assessment methods for each child. This is to be accomplished with the AVS teacher assuming responsibility, in support of the child. Creation of three formal reports written by an AVS teacher, in consultation with the parent and student, plus two informal reports each school year. Use of Ministry or district recommended resources to support learning goals as outlined in each Individual Learning Plan. Other approved resources may be used to meet identified learning outcomes.
